Sadly only about three contacted me back. Some of the agency's I even contacted twice. I clicked on the interested in this child link , filled out forms, etc. We are a licensed foster home with a current homestudy, I have a large home and make a good living and we are succesfull foster parents. If this is National Foster Care Month, why are none of these agencys/workers interested in getting their kids adopted???

I dont know about FL but in PA I dont think there ...

I dont know about FL but in PA I dont think there is a limit on the number of children you can adopt. I know of several families that have very large groups of children in their homes. I would think it would depend on whether the children were foster care or pre-adoptive children. It is my understanding that there is a difference between the two. PA has a limit of 6 in foster care, and that needs to include your own children. It can be a combination of both, but not over six. I think the red tape comes in when you are combining adopted/bio children then take in foster children, not preadoptive children. I believe PA has a system by which one can apply for an exception or waiver, such as keeping a sib group together. <BR/>If you find out the info for FL could you share it on the blog? I think that type of info can be very useful to all of us who are in this process, whether from our own state or out of state.

Thank you for the link.
